SANDCASTLE .. The new album by Headnodic (available now on vinyl / digital). The tracks were made over the course of a week at the Sandcastle Hotel in Lincoln City overlooking the Oregon coast. It was autumn, with occaisional sunshine but primarily overcast and moody. While making the beats, I was often watching the waves and thinking about time—how it moves, how it loops, how making music keeps me connected to every version of myself throughout my years. Feeling feels and stuff. I was so pleased with how the project came out that I pressed a limited run of vinyl and even put two thirds of my face on the album cover, which is a first for me.
