The album “Transmitted in 2003: The Year of the M.D.” by E-N-L (short for Energy and Light) brings forth a timeless collaboration between cousins Star-Walker (Energy) and Venomous2000 (Light). Growing up in Passaic, New Jersey, the two began rhyming together in 1995 and eventually came together to create this album while Venomous2000 was studying at Rutgers University. Though recorded in 2003, life, mixing, and other circumstances kept this project unreleased until now. With the help of Serbian producer Trilian, who has mixed several of Venomous2000’s previous works, this gem has been salvaged and presented as a collector’s item for true fans of Venomous2000 and soon-to-be fans of Star-Walker.

The first single, “Heavenly Tone,” is the ENERGY and FREQUENCY we channeled in New Brunswick in 2003, with the great help of The Iyaami. It captures the essence of that time, where inspiration flowed and purpose aligned. This project also became a reality thanks to the encouragement of my dear friend Nalm Myerz, who recently visited me and reminded me that it was time to let this energy out into the world.
