Stan Ipcus – The Mask Tape | mixtape

Tape Kingz presents Stan Ipcus ‘The Mask Tape’ mixtape celebrating the 30th anniversary of the ‘The Mask’ which was released on July 29th, 1994. ‘The Mask’ is what gave birth to the Stanley Ipcus nickname, a flip of Jim Carrey’s character’s name in the movie that was originally given to him by a friend that summer during a game of knockout. That summer of ‘94 is also when Ipcus wrote his first rap song.

Mixed by United Crates in classic mixtape fashion, ‘The Mask Tape‘ features over 80 minutes of Stan Ipcus exclusives, blends, unreleased demos, freestyles, throwbacks, collaborations, remixes, live recordings, skits, and more.

The cover art, designed by Marc Borelli, is also an ode to the movie-inspired ’90s mixtape covers that can be found inside the pages of the Rizzoli-published book ‘Do Remember: The Golden Era of NYC Hip-Hop Mixtapes’ which was co-authored by Stan Ipcus aka Daniel Isenberg.

Grab ‘The Mask Tape’ on limited edition green cassette, and stay tuned for the new Stan Ipcus album ‘Sleep If You Want’ coming soon on Tape Kingz vinyl and cassette.
