“Inspired by the great Thelonious Monk, this track had the drums recorded and processed through the SP – 505 drum machine to give it that lo-fi sound. Inspired by Nas’ Illmatic, the repeating guitar note allows for the beat to play off each other. This is layered with a melody and chord progression inspired by Thelonious Monk.” – Fr1th
