Oklahoma City Artist, Activist, and Businessman Jabee joins the Mello Squad.
To celebrate we are releasing a new Jabee song produced by Conductor Williams: “Hear Me When I Pray”.
“It’s exciting. It’s a label i’ve been a fan of for years, and a lot of my favorite rappers and producers are on it – and I got to work with them on my upcoming project,” says Jabee.
“Jabee was introduced to me by Murs a number of years ago and we’ve been fans ever since. Watching his music grow and community involvement over the years is what made us want to bring him on the team. Jabee is the type of guy whose name you can say anywhere in the country and the true heads will know him personally. He’s everywhere working to make a difference – from his work with @livefreeokc to his business endeavors with @eastsidepizzahouse and @scrambld23rd and beyond. You hear it in his music – it’s connected to not just time and place but People,” says Mello.

Jabee is the organizer of “Juneteenth on the East” – a Black art and music festival that attracted 15,000 attendees in
2023. He is also executive director of LiveFree OKC which launched Oklahoma’s first violence intervention program serving the city’s Black community.
