Bringing you one last glimpse of the Portland summer for the year, theHOMETEAM’s debut music video was directed by resident legend lensman Noah Porter – a longtime collaborator of both Fresh Selects and various TEAM members, who has most recently been killing with it with his prolific work for Pink Siifu, Kassa Overall, Fly Anakin, Flight Club, and more.

“crash DUMMIES” is the first single, as a full crew, for theHOMETEAM – a Portland-based super-group made up of 7 solo rappers and singers, consisting of: Milc, Mat Randol, YoungShirtMayne, C’est La, Mal London, Brill, and Manny Monday.

Inspired by Loc Dog (“message!”), Matt Dishman pool water, “Protect Ya Neck” & “Triumph,” Polo socks, the crew adlibs on Mobb Deep ‘The Infamous’ skits, Mook and his E&J, Curtis Mayfield’s equal opportunity slur shoutouts, Channel 4 KOMO, Timbaland outros (and Dilla’s “Let’s Grow” homage to Timbaland outros), Bill Gates tears, “Two Words,” Public Enemy & The Bomb Squad, Bad Bunny, The Kingpin’s Hawaiian shirts, Remy Martin (and Remy Martin), Making The Band season 4, B.G., whatever tf “Gorilla Leaves” means, Tri-Met Police, and Dotty’s scratch-its.
