Priest Da Nomad – “Steve Jobs” feat. Prowess the Testament, Jenna Camille | video

Steve Jobs, the famous founder of the company Apple, stated “People don’t know what they want until you show it to them!” Priest Da Nomad has definitely made that paradigm correlate to the type of soulful boom bap hip hop he is now well branded for. Teaming up with powerful lyricist Prowess the Testament, and jazz/soul vocalist Jenna Camille from the group Golden Browne, Priest gives us this mantra in a jazzy/soulful but drum smacking song named after the inspiration for the mantra “Steve Jobs”. Priest also does a glowing and inspirational tribute to the classic Native Tongues crew, and specifically the group A Tribe Called Quest as he does a flip of their song “Excursions” from their classic Low End Theory album, in his verse. With the passing of Trugoy (Dave) from De La Soul, this is a refreshing homage paying tribute to that era, but with it’s own updated spin. Please enjoy “Steve Jobs” from one of the DMV’s finest! Video directed by Roddy Rod, who also did the track!

This is a 5th single release from Priest Da Nomad’s “Receipts” album, now available at https://priestdanomad.bandcamp.com/
