“Omen Key” Odd Holiday’s 4th single enters into the realm of Brazilian Psych, adding another dimension to Odd Holiday’s eclectic alternative-hip hop repertoire. The intro pulls you in via an intense wall of synth which resolves itself into a smooth Rhodes-driven groove with a trademark verse from Mattic who reminds the listener to “bust the glass in case of an emergency”. The B-section evolves into an unexpected psychedelic guitar breakdown that Mattic flows over with less than zero effort. Once again, Odd Holiday pushes into a new sonic identity, but in a way that is distinctly them.
