Ol’ Burger Beats – We Made It (Instrumental) [Official Visualizer]
Directed by Alan Capriles, who has this to say regarding the video:
The intention for “We made it” came as a celebration, and a lamentation of black life in the United States during the 20th century. The strides made and the pains endured for progress go hand in hand, what if the video played as a slideshow of the American past? The photographs used in the video are from the national archives, interpreting the lyric “we made it” into a symbol of both suffering and progress through history.
