Jazz Rap vets and former Nujabes collaborators, Substantial and Funky DL joined forces on the new EP, ‘We Met In Tokyo’.

This instrumental version of the EP showcases the production, which was handled entirely by London’s own, DL.

The soundscapes are filled with melodic Jazz samples, warm bass grooves, and thumping boom-bap drums.

There’s also a mini-doc, which expands on the project is directed by Rachelle Etienne-Robinson, which is available to view on YouTube now.
