Inf, Guilty Simpson & Kuf Knotz – Gotta Go
Utrecht-based producer Inf releases ‘Gotta Go’ with Dilla’s favorite rapper, Guilty Simpson on Friday, August 20 via German label Besser Samstag. The gentlemen are joined by rapper Kuf Knotz and singer Christine Elise from Philadelphia.
The track has a boombap vibe with a musical edge. Pumping drums, crunchy Wurlitzer piano, bawdy organ and swampy bass guitar. All this is contrasted by classic stacato orchestral elements and a saxophone solo by Tomas Delfgaauw (Arts the Beatdoctor).

The track came about when Inf contacted Guilty Simpson. From the moment he made the first draft of the instrumental in 2020, he heard none other than Guilty Simpson here. In that year, the collaboration didn’t work out. When he wanted to release the track this year as an instrumental through the German label Besser Samstag, the idea of the collab with Guilty kept haunting his mind like a ‘what if’ question. After brief contact, it now appeared to work out.
It has been a while since Inf has released a track with rappers. For the past 10 years, he has been primarily involved with instrumental releases through various labels, accounting for around 30 million streams. His music has been used by companies such as Comedy Central and Fabfilter.
