Featuring MCs Ray Lugar, CJ Moore and Femcee Ke Turner, “No Sinpathy” is the follow up single to the star studded “Sinphony” released earlier this month which starred the likes of Kid Capri and DJ Q-Bert.

The executive producer of Da Odd Couple’s forthcoming album AGAINST ALL ODDS, Dr. Butcher, says “Our fan base knows Sinista, Rob Swift and I for our DJ pedigree. But the 3 of us felt it was important to make a well-rounded Hip Hop album that featured more than just 100 mph hour scratching on every song.” Rob Swift adds, “All 3 of us have DJed for the most celebrated MCs to ever grab a mic. Dr. Butcher DJed for Kool G Rap. I was Akninyele’s DJ and Sin toured with Common. So recruiting MCs to collaborate with us on this album was the natural thing for us to do.”

“No Sinphany” is a sonic alchemy of haunting pianos and shimmering strings, tied together by mid-tempo, hard hitting drums that set the stage for the pre Halloween vibes thematic of the song’s music and reflective in the album’s artwork. According to Mista Sinista, “We decided months ago while recording Against All Odds that we wanted to release it Halloween weekend. We’ve always had a sinister approach to the music we’ve made since the X-Ecutioners days. Nothing has changed since then.” The scratches and beat’s eeriness provide the perfect backdrop for the social political commentary explored within the 3 potent verses that appear on the track. “The culture baptize ultra k your mind.
