On his sixth release on Redefinition records, K.A.A.N., one of today’s most prolific and exciting rappers has joined forces with one of the most prominent names in “Lofi” & “Chill” beats, Flofilz. Back in late 2019 the pair started working on an album that is now known as “Lost in Translation”. It began with a handful of Flofilz’s carefully crafted instrumentals that inspired K.A.A.N. to pen a witty and dynamic offering of his thoughts. Upon hearing each other’s work for the first time, both the producer and MC shared an instant appreciation for one another that made these recordings happen very organically. In creating such momentum, it was easy for some of their peers get involved and join the excitement. Guests like Blu made an appearance on the first single, “Simonal” that was been sensational with fans since it’s release. Also, even in the midst of being tied down with his own projects, Damu the Fudgemunk was energized to contribute not only to one song, but the whole project was executive produced and mixed under his guidance with exclusive scratching to boot throughout the album’s 8 tracks.
