Backwoodz newest signee ShrapKnel pairs two long-time friends and frequent collaborators Curly Castro and PremRock. Although the two rappers have long been part of Philly’s Wrecking Crew, ShrapKnel is a pared down affair; sharp knives in tight spaces. There is a full-length album on the way- produced entirely by Backwoodz’ label mates ELUCID & Willie Green- but this EP Cobalt, should suffice for the time being.
