Veteran New York DJ / producer, Nickodemus, has spent the last 25-years playing music across the world while gathering sounds and scouting new music for his acclaimed Wonderwheel label. Those sounds have now been compiled into Nickodemus’ highly-anticipated new artist album, A Long Engagement, out now via Wonderwheel Recordings. A jam-packed production of 13-tracks and over 10 collaborators, A Long Engagement represents not only Nickodemus’ first solo album in five years, but also his most ambitious one to date.

Today, the album is now getting a visual counterpart of its own with the official music video for LP cut “Caballito De Mar” featuring Argentinian artist La Yegros. Directed by self-taught animator Emanuele Kabu, the mastermind also behind the videos of Little Dragon, Helios Sequence, Adult Swim, and more, “Caballito De Mar” takes us under the sea into the enigmatic imagination of Kabu who executes his now famous style that utilizes bold colors, geometric shapes, and elaborate patterning. The single also features singer, rapper, and songwriter La Yegros whose sonic fusion of electronic music and folkloric beats has found International acclaim by outlets including NPR, The Guardian, Noisey, FADER, and more.
