Washed Out’s new single “Face Up” premiered a couple weeks ago on Adult Swim’s Singles Program and it’s the first new song out since the Georgia singer/songwriter’s 2017 album Mister Mellow.

Ernest Green (the man behind Washed Out): “This song was the first thing I wrote post-Mister Mellow and it contains none of the sample-driven craziness or detached irony found in that era. Instead it’s a simple song with a simple sentiment.”

Washed Out will continue to tour this summer, including a Northwest run, a set at Electric Forest – which Ernest just did a Reddit AMA for yesterday – two EU festivals and a newly announced run on the East Coast.
