The up and coming Detroit rapper, Semi Six, has been gearing up for the release of his sophomore EP titled, “Park Orange”. Entirely produced by Clear Soul Forces member, Ilajide, Semi gives us more stylistic and hip hop influenced vibes to dance and nod too. The bass and lyric heavy EP is set to release winter 2018

Young, talented, skilled, and raw are just a few words that would accurately describe Semi Six, a 25 year old MC from the west side of Detroit. Beginning his music journey in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2014, he was taken under the wing by artists, Shay Who and Big Mo. They later formed “The Black Smiths,” an underground hip hop group influenced by battle rap and black unity. The Black Smiths performed at shows in KL like “Raising The Bar” and caught the attention of Sony Music Malaysian artist, Sona One. After multiple studio sessions, Sona and Semi released their first collaboration track “Get Used To It.” In 2015, Semi gathered some dope instrumentals from the likes of Apollo Brown, 9th Wonder, Madlib, and other head nod kings for his collection of punch line heavy verses named “The Coronation EP.” With the guidance of Nolan The Ninja and Mega Powers producer, Pig Pen, he demonstrates that he can go bar for bar on a technical level, paints an opus with the lyrics, and also has a very unique voice that is smooth and easy to listen to. Since then, he has been working closely with Clear Soul Forces member and producer, Ilajide for his upcoming LP titled “Park Orange”. Semi’s music is energetic, inspirational, introspective, and thought provoking.
