Teklife titan DJ Earl and producer extraordinaire Nick Hook have joined forces for 50 Backwoods, an album that combines Earl’s electronic footwork sensibility with Hook’s digital and analog synth wizardry, out December 8th on Fool’s Gold Records. Recorded over one week in Brooklyn, the genre-bending project draws from footwork, dancehall, hip-hop and more to create a free-spirited album filled with deep visceral and experimental sound.
