The Pollyseeds is a collaborative group of A-list producers, musicians, and creators including Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper, Robert “Sput” Searight, Rose Gold, Craig Brockman, and more. Along with his 2016 Grammy nominated album Velvet Portraits, the group’s founder Terrace Martin is known for his work with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Herbie Hancock, Snoop Dogg, and YG. So far, Sounds of Crenshaw Vol. 1 has been praised by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Stereogum, The New York Times, The FADER, Billboard, Consequence of Sound, and more.
