The Last American B-Boy “Mr. Lewis” (prod by Ford Tuff) [audio]

Multi-talented New York artist The Last American B-Boy shares one of his most personal and gripping music videos yet with “Mr. Lewis,” which is also the latest we’re hearing from his forthcoming project, American B-Boy.

Known for his immense skills with the pen and behind the lens, the rapper/videographer has been steadily building his fanbase with previous work like “Selfie (All I Need)” and “The Quickie.” And just as those tracks/videos showed off his many sides, “Mr. Lewis” takes us directly into the turbulent childhood that shaped him.

The track, which features moody production by Ford Tuff, finds The Last American B-Boy struggling to come to terms with his parents, particularly his father (aka “Mr. Lewis”). He addresses his daddy and momma separately on the two verses as he continues to try to figure out where things went wrong. In the end, he can only apologize to his father—or is he apologizing for him?

Check out the visuals, and head over to the digital retail platform of your choice to stream or download the track. Stay tuned for more visuals off ‘American B-Boy,’ coming soon!
