Hardest Word is the next single and video off River Nelson’s third album How To Dream. The song is about a couple whose been together from a young age until much older older, and it covers some of the trials they’ve endured.

The video is directed by Eric Hudson for Hudson Productions, the story was written by J. Shawn Durham and the lead female character is played by Barbie Malgache.

River Nelson began his recording career when he was signed to Arista Records while Clive Davis was still at the label’s helm. He also hooked up with the New York rappers the Boogiemonsters and was featured on the group’s classic debut Riders of The Storm: The Under Water Album.

River — who is a native New Yorker and spent much of his childhood in nearby Connecticut — has since gone on to carve out a respectable following for himself in the U.S., Europe and other parts of the globe.
