Jason James and Rodney Hazard are proud to present our third album entitled, No Weapon.

Written and recorded over the span of 4 years, No Weapon is a thirty minute journey into a constantly developing and evolving thought. The album touches on a variety of topics from the autobiographical (“Sleeping Giant”) to American Imperialism (“The Mechanic” and “World War Free”), and celebrity and media obsession (“Idols”).

In addition to the release of No Weapon, Jason James and Rodney Hazard have also released a video for the intro and title track.

The visual is a lo-fi introduction to the stream of consciousness on the album. About the video, Jason says:

“I’ve always had this uneasy fascination with low quality video from the 80’s and 90’s. I wanted to do something in that vain to introduce the album because the music has an unsettling quality about it. I was also in the pre-production phase for two larger budget, higher quality videos at the time so the idea made sense from a cost standpoint. The entire video ended up costing about $40 to make.”
