Seattle producer/rapper, Tay Sean, released his fantastic album “Leavings” this past September. The album is described as a funked out future-jazz astral projectile in which Tay Sean produces, writes and records the entire album.

Tay Sean started piecing together a home studio in 2008 which would serve as the backbone for the Cloud Nice collective, a group of musicians whose membership included THEESatisfaction (Sub Pop), Seven Davis Jr. (Ninja Tune), and Nacho Picasso. Tay Sean’s synth instrumentation can also be found on THEESatisfaction’s 2015 release “EarthEE.”

Today, check out the short film for Tay Sean’s “Leavings” album which is beautifully directed by Noah Porter. The short film incorporates various songs from the “Leavings” album while Noah Porter’s visuals takes viewers on a trip through Tay Sean’s world.
