Corey King, who just released his “Lashes” album this past Friday, releases the first music video for the song “Ibaraki.” Directed and edited by Ryosuke Tanzawa, the washed out visuals is a perfect compliment to the Rock/Soul ode to the area of Japan called Ibaraki. Corey King states “Ibaraki was written in my hotel on a Japan tour. I was amazed at the area’s resilience after the natural disaster that happened in 2011, which inspired me to write something for all those who have suffered in this way.” The song features Corey King on vocals, Wurlitzer and synths, Matt Stevens on guitar, Alan Hampton on bass and Jamire Williams on drums.
