Today marks the release date for Los Angeles’s own, Matre, and his new mixtape entitled “Courage.” The mixtape is available as a free download via Bandcamp and the mixtape features Myka 9 (Freestyle Fellowship), Awol One (Shape Shifters), and Mayda Del Valle.

In a culture that constantly pushes away the things we fear, the “Courage” mixtape suggest we should face them. Inspired by a series of international and domestic collaborations, the mixtape fuses various rhythms from all over the world with themes ranging from racial justice, inner growth and technology addiction.
