Siimba Liives Long – W.I.A. [audio]
Living in Brooklyn, but raised in Ethiopia, Siimba Liives Long’s outlook on life and rap is a unique one. Following his breakout video, “Cocaine Bimbie,” Siimba releases “W.I.A.” (Want It All), where he channels 90’s era hip-hop in a silky flow that blends beautifully with an earthly Brazilian jazz funk beat- it’s a perfect addition to the continuation of his sonic series, Zemenays Gemiinii – coming early 2016.
Yesterday, “W.I.A.” premiered on NPR’s “Songs We Love.”
