Halfmanhalf is a Northwest underground vet – a rapper, producer, and visual artist who has worked with Vast Aire of Cannibal Ox, Frank Nitt of Frank N Dank, Tame One, and more. Half’s sound is gritty, rugged hip hop at it’s finest. With his gravelly voice and effortless delivery, he paints a picture of demons that most of us don’t see.

Recently, Halfmanhalf moved from Portland to Sacramento. Despite the move, his new single “Son Of Sam” reps Thorn City to the fullest and employs some of its strongest talents. Portland rapper/producer Theory Hazit provides the neck-breaker of a beat that sets the track’s grimy tone. As for the bars, Half enlisted Sandpeople heavyweights Only & Ill (OnlyOne & battle-rap legend Illmaculate) and the end result is a “track feeling like a hundred grand.” Of course you can buy it for considerably less via Halfmanhalf’s bandcamp page.
