New single by Stella “Fumes,” off her upcoming Selfish LP dropping in Winter 2016.

A San-Francisco native, STELLA was born and raised into a family full of musicians. Her passion for music was inherited at a young age from both her grandfathers, who were famous Mariachi and Jazz players. Her father, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Carlos Santana, greatly encouraged her musical pursuits as well, however, “don’t expect any wild guitar solos or vintage rock vibes” (Pigeons and Planes) from STELLA. Influenced by artists, such as Bob Marley and Miles Davis, STELLA “shows an innate soulfulness and sultriness not unlike the voices she grew up listening to and loving.” (Billboard)

Stella made her debut with her single, “Friends.” The song “took listeners on an unparalleled journey into her artistic space.” (HillyDilly) Since then, she’s been featured on the pages of Billboard, VIBE, Marie Claire and Remezcla, and on acclaimed radio programs, including Sway in the Morning, Hot 97 and BBC Radio 1xtra. Featuring singer Jared Evan, producer duo Caswell (Rainy Milo) and beatmaker Frankie P (A$AP Ferg) on production, Selfish showcases how “STELLA’s got velvety chords and soulful storytelling that tap into human emotions — heartache and self-discovery — without the trajectory of her life experiences on wax cut crystal clear.” (VIBE) In anticipation of the album’s release, STELLA will be releasing more exclusives.
