Off of her upcoming official EP, MELANATED, Lish boldly makes her self-introduction to the world with the first single and music video, 40 Acres & A Jeweler. Executive produced by Marc James, Lish combines the art of lyricism with the energy of a celebration. In her own words, Lish describes this project as “A celebration of black culture. Too many times we hear about what’s wrong with the world. Let’s start celebrating everything that’s RIGHT with our world!”

Born and raised in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, Lish is quickly becoming known as one of the most charismatic performers on the Hip Hop scene. With show-stopping performances at the Nuyorican (NYC), The Flat (NYC), The Rucker (NYC), Boston College (Boston, MA), Bus Boys (Arlington, VA), 7DL Studios (Washington D.C.) and The Apache Café (Atlanta, GA), Lish is building a name for herself across the New York Hip Hop scene and is steadily expanding her presence on the national stage. Most recently after competing in The RapFest Showcase (with judges from Roc Nation and MTV), Lish received 1st place honors, besting 17 other Hip Hop, male performers. What is more impressive is her doing this without uttering one curse word! As a true lyricist, Lish is set out to create music that transcends age and gender with the goal of being a representation of everything we’ve come to love about MUSIC!
