Today marks the release of Kooley High’s new EP entitled “Heights.” The 9 song EP was entirely recorded at 9th Wonder’s Bright Lady Studios in Raleigh, NC and the EP brings the group back to their roots while showcasing their growth over the years. Though the project’s title references ascent, one gets the sense that Kooley High has been quietly laying it’s foundation for years. Atop it’s framework of driving and bouncy rhythms, the group’s emcees find firm ground to build their stories with uplighting statements with technical mastery.
