Illa J’s self titled album will be released on October 2nd via NYC imprint, Bastard Jazz. The entire album was produced by Canadian production duo Potatohead People. Feeling the need for a creative shift as well as a geographical move to Montreal, the album organically grew from a few sessions with Potatohead People, which later developed into a full length project. The choice to work with one production unit, as well as Illa J’s new surroundings, has provided the upcoming album with an entirely fresh sound of his own.

Today, check out the track “All Good Pt 2” featuring Moka Only and Ivan Ave. The song was also chosen to be featured on NBA Live’s 2016 soundtrack, who also announced their upcoming soundtrack via their Spotify playlist released earlier today.
