This is Diva’s third album, and her first on PB Wolf’s new imprint Circle Star. Divinity in Thee is psychedelic electronic music influenced by dub, doo-wop, 60s psych, post-punk, BBC Radiophonic Workshop experiments. Diva wrote, produced and performed each song using drum machines, electric guitar & bass, variety of synths both analog and digital.

Diva has worked previously with Pocahaunted, L.A. Ladies, Blackblack; toured with Os Mutantes, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Sun Araw, Matthewdavid, M. Geddes Gengras, Mi Ami, among others. Her father is Kevin Haskins of Bauhaus, Tones on Tail, Love & Rockets – an upbringing that is undeniably evident in her music.

The lyrical content of the album tells of multi-cultural mythology of divine influence and mystical experience. The back of the record (with artwork by Ron Rege Jr) reads:
