Dayne Jordan releases the “In Progress” video directed by Cristopher Schafer. The track is from his upcoming album, Memoirs of Dayne Jordan, out July 21st as a free download. It serves as the opening chapter of this autobiographical project that chronicles Jordan’s personal and musical path.

Dayne starts the video offering some background on his family life. He steps underground into Philly’s SEPTA and his story unfolds. Personal footage he has captured over the years flashes across screens, windows and billboards. It ends with a recording he made while writing the track. It’s not only the evolution of Dayne Jordan, but of the song as well.

DJ Jazzy Jeff, an integral part of his career, is part of the story. He serves as the album’s producer, his first full-length project since 2007’s The Return of the Magnificent. Jordan also tours the globe as Jeff’s MC.
