Chicago producer, Thelonious Martin, defies gravity with his new visual, “Corners of Your Mind.” If the video look vaguely familiar, you may have caught snippets of it during one of Adult Swim’s late night bumpers (previously known to feature the likes of Flying Lotus, J Dilla, and Madlib). Now, the full video premieres via Complex. The song, which features the angelic vocals of NYLO & KSRA, is the first video off of Thelonious’ recently released new album, Wünderkid. Says Thelonious of the video: “This video is inspired by Flying Lotus, but not entirely directly. More so in the sense that producers can have incredible visuals. This is one of the most spacey records on the album and the visuals reflect with me as the pied piper with the children dancing to my production. We shot this the day after Halloween so the kids still had their costumes which added awesome dramatic effect.” Video directed by Simon Davis and shot by Jason Sondock. As a bonus, also listen to the Whoarei (Kendrick Lamar “u” off of To Pimp a Butterfly) produced remix to “Corners of Your Mind.” This version appears as a bonus on the vinyl release of Wünderkid.
