Last week we announced the May 7th release of dEnAuN’s upcoming project “Stuff In My Backpack.” A veteran producer from Detroit, dEnAuN (aka Mr. Porter / Kon Artist) is a member of D12 and has been touring with Eminem since the untimely death of Proof.

“Stuff In My Backpack” is “the start of sharing music as an artist,” as not only a producer, but a rapper and singer. dEnAuN explains further that the songs on “Stuff In My Backpack” gave him “a retro feel” of his favorite time in hip-hop, which he calls “the Tribe era, a fun time in music when you never knew what to expect.” This is his interpretation of that era.

Today, check out the music video for “Told Ya’ll” featuring Rapsody and Scram Jones, which is the first single from the upcoming project.
