One of the fastest rising stars in the NW – Portland Rapper & Producer TOPE offers up the first official single from his upcoming album BROKEBOYSYNDROME, “RED LIGHT” ft LA rapper CashUs King. Produced by PDX’s Stewart Villain, RED LIGHT mashes a classic Willie Hutch sample with a vintage break beat to set the tone, while TOPE and CashUs King (formerly known as Co$$) speak on the struggles of touring and playing night after night on the road all topped off with cuts from DJ Celsius. One of the hardest working rappers in the region, TOPE has toured with Gift Of Gab from Blackalicious and opened for acts all over the NW in 2014 including Ab-Soul, Deltron, Mobb Deep, The Coup, Ty Dolla $ign, Bun B, Kirko Bangz, People Under The Stairs, Zion I, Sol, El-P, Shad, and more.
