Back in 1999-2000, Bad Seed was working on his solo career as he dropped his first two singles “Dem Grits” and “Shit Is Hot”. At the same time, producer Nottz was trying to jump start his career as well, working with up comers like 3rd Eye and D.V. Alias Khrist.

While crafting his signature style of sampling classical and showtunes and adding his signature dark bass, Nottz gained great success by working with Busta Rhymes on his “ELE” album as well as Seed’s “Fo rThe Kids” single which was a huge success in the underground and even got Seed a deal with Rawkus Records.
