Appropriately enough, it was “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing” that snuck its way into Jeff “Doze” Halbritter’s life.

After hearing Black Sheep’s cassette tape, he was hooked. He started listening to anything he could get his hands on–no easy task growing up in a town only 400 strong–and after he did his first hip-hop radio show, he decided to start making music of his own.

He drew on his love for hip-hop, classic rock, bands like Rage Against the Machine, At the Drive-In, NOFX and many others to create his signature beats. Since then, he’s worked with the likes of Blueprint, Qwel, Onry Ozzborn, Soulcrate Music, F.Stokes, and Ecid.

And he’s just getting started.
