On July 30th, 2013 Awon & Phoniks released their debut album “Return to the Golden Era”, a project which was proclaimed by many (1, 2, 3, 4) as one of the best hip hop releases of 2013. To celebrate the one year anniversary of the album that opened so many doors for the duo, they are bringing fans a duel package consisting of the instrumentals from the original LP as well as a remix album of all 11-cuts redone by Portland, ME producer and remixologist Phoniks. The project’s will be available as pay-what-you-want downloads through http://awonandphoniks.bandcamp.com as well as on iTunes, Amazon and all major streaming services. All proceeds from the two releases will go towards the recording of the follow-up LP from Awon & Phoniks slated for release in 2015.
