Last year’s 25 track, full-length sophomore LP, ‘The Green Invasion’ has the green thumb lyricist spitting with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Planet Asia, but “Natural Selection,” his latest project with Italian fashion brand GOODIDEAstyle, is a slow burner that proves he can still kick it. But the ‘Microphone Doctor’ keeps it 100 as always, delivering straight bars while fitting in a ton of hidden passages that can only be appreciated after a few listens over this smooth production from Pitus. “Natural Selection” is the first cut from the mixtape, which features support from Akwword and Jus Daze. Bump this one a a couple of times and give the doc a call in the morning.
