This video didn’t come together as planned. What we thought would be the most difficult part of the video, getting Killer Mike to find some time to shoot, ended up being the easiest part. Mike shot his part in the green room of The Fillmore in San Francisco before another sold out crowd during a tour stop with The GZA. The difficult part was finding the proper footage to paint the “Gangland” story we wanted to tell. We couldn’t find the right “voice” for the theme and the editing was trickier than expected. Anyway, we wanted to let this one loose, if only to thank Killer Mike for taking a little bit of his time to crank out this video. Enjoy.
