The boys from Animal Nation and Sly Business team up to create one of the best visual hip-hop experiences of the year. Originally intended to be a melodramatic think piece set in rainy Vancouver and snowy Whistler, the video quickly became something else all together.

With no rain in the forecast, and Whistler having -30 degree wind chills the crew decided to think on their feet and find locations that wouldn’t result in wooden/frozen acting, and would change the feel of the video to incorporate a “fun” factor on the fly.

This video is shot in both double and half time, and then either slowed down or sped up in edit, adding different feels from shot to shot. Director, Christopher Lazar captured these moments with high-definition DSLR cameras and a spectacular set of Ziess Compact Prime Lenses. The quality of imagery that these lenses produce allowed them to capture every vivid detail from slow motion Champagne sabering, to skateboarding, to topless hotties with animal masks in the Bearfoot Bistro’s wine cellar and vodka room.
