Vex Ruffin – Vex Ruffin

We met Vex a couple years ago when he sent PB Wolf an insane demo tape. He’s released a few EPs: Crash Course (vinyl), Same Time Tomorrow (Cassette), and two free on the web: Eulogy and No Escape.

Last weekend inspiration struck, and we had an impromptu album premiere & listening party in the best venue Los Angeles has to offer: A grimy alleyway next to a liquor store. We set up a turntable, a couple speakers, and gave away a box of hand-printed copies of the album. Thanks to Jessica Rew for the pictures, and thanks to everyone who showed up. Next time, we promise to give you more than 4 hours notice.
