Those grooves though, at home in the car or a sing-along shower, are an instant teleport to a New York City of yesteryear. The disco ball spins in our memory, just as Gavin Turek’s upcoming trip to New York will spin memories in our future. Her tour kicks off at Babys All Right in Brooklyn on November 7, but the triple-threat artist — singer-songwriter, bombastic producer, professionally trained dancer — will be in the home of disco all week. She’ll then tour the West Coast with a performance that combines her overflowing talents into a wallop of an hour.

I Love You Giorgio drops next Monday (Nov. 11th) and is sure to set the stage for the next leap from Gavin Turek. The Windish Agency-signee knows her history, knows how to write a track, and damn sure well knows how to make sure everyone dances alongside her.
