“What Would Galileo Do?” is the second music video from Rabbi Darkside’s new album Prospect Avenue (#4 on CMJ Hip Hop, #1 on College Radio Charts Hip Hop). Inspired by the words of British Education Professor/Philosopher Sir Ken Robinson, Pablo Picasso, the multi-disciplinary genius of Galileo Galilei, and his own experiences working in NYC Public Schools as an arts educator, Darkside pays homage to the “wonder years” of childhood over Jazz Hip Hop production composed by Parisian Sid Suna, featuring the buttery vocal talents of Duv (Bronx, NY). The video takes us through a day in the life of the indy musician, which includes a day-to-night Brooklyn backyard BBQ filled with free spirits, both young and old. It is a celebration of maturing in Hip Hop while reminding us to stay attuned to our inner child. This is the third video collaboration with director Tafadzwa M. Chiriga (A Love Supreme Production), who also directed the “See Something Say Something” video and the Prospect Avenue “Trailer x Tracklisting.”
