North Carolina based emcee Fluent gets set to release his debut album, Retro Future on August 27th.

• Conceptually, the album showcases Fluent’s artistic diversity, as he meanders from boom-bap influenced production that’s rooted in the context of Hip-Hop’s Golden Era, while also crafting records that emphasize his knack for song writing, over more progressive instrumentation that’s more native to club and radio environments, hence the title, ‘Retro Future.’
