Los Angeles’ emcee ethemadassassin releases his new album Soul on Fire on 17th September, and has today launched the video for his new single “Can’t Get Enough”, premiered by The Rap Up.

Originally based in Greensboro NC, he came up through the rap battle scene there in the 90’s where his reputation for firebrand lyricism grew quickly before releasing two solo albums. His previous album in 2008, “Tomorrow Never Comes”, enjoyed international support from MTV Base UK, Flava TV, Hip Hop Connection, Rap Attack Lives and Rap Network Charts.

He moved to Cali to form the group Veteran Assassins with fellow NC artist Veteran Eye. They have toured the west coast with Project Blowed’s Kandi Cole and released two albums featuring international producers and artists.

Soul on Fire includes production from NC and Los Angeles, as well as the UK’s Sci Fi Stu and France’s Kyo Itachi. The mix of rock, reggae & soul samples combined with driving beats and turntablism is the perfect backdrop for E’s delivery and wordplay.
