After a long hiatus, Trav Williams returns with P.O.E. (Preponderance Of Evidence). The last time we heard from Trav Williams as a solo artist, he was dropping gems on the controversial IllTravis. Like IllTravis, which was inspired by Nas’ Illmatic, P.O.E. is a concept record that makes use of the original samples from Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt and turns them into a 2013 masterpiece. Production is provided by Skidmatik, Keenan, and Trav’s long time partner in rhyme, Pee Duble. This blend of production styles allows Trav to reintroduce himself as a dope emcee/storyteller, and demand the respect that he has garnered with previous projects. P.O.E. is proof that Trav belongs in the conversation as one of the dopest “unheard” emcees in the the game.
