(Atlanta) Was there ever any ever doubt that an infectious party starter like the video for Spree Wilson’s “Right One | Wrong Time” would premiere with one of the year’s best parties? At the jam-packed and hallowed hip-hop grounds of Stankonia Studios, Spree Wilson debuted the visuals for his new EP’s lead single to a rapturous audience. Hosted by Maurice Garland and GRAMMY-nominated The Flush (who worked extensively on “Life in Technicolor”), the party was a throwback to Atlanta’s bass music movement of the ’90s, just like the singer-rapper-producer-multi-instrumentalist’s new track.
