Stones Throw’s first reggae signing, The Lions, recently released their album “This Generation,” to a great response and toping out at #2 on the Billboard Reggae Charts.

inspired by reggae, sound system culture and the myriad of musical styles influenced by Jamaican music old and new, The Lions’ sound is firmly placed in soul music. The LA group features musicians from The Breakestra, Hepcat and includes Black Shakespeare the cousin of Robbie Shakespeare (of Sly & Robbie fame).
